John Murphy of RBC Dominion Securities and Anya-Deane Best of O'Flynn Weese LLP hosted a seminar entitled "Death and Taxes: Will and Estate Planning". John and Anya-Deane discussed how and why you should create an estate plan to ensure the best and most tax-efficient way to transfer your estate. This includes the benefit of an updated will and for some could involve the use of a trust. For most of us the use of insurance is the best way to mitigate the liability of estate taxes. As the old saying goes there are two things in life that can't be avoided...why not prepare for both of them on your own terms?
