Real Estate Board Golf Tournament
The Quinte & District Real Estate Board held its golf tournament at Oak Hills Golf Club on June 18th. It is an annual fund raiser for local charities. The Membership has been enjoying a nice day of golf and fellowship for many years. In the last few years they have raised $41,600 for Habitat for Humanity which has helped families with home ownership. This year the fundraising efforts were more grass roots with the charities being Three Oaks Foundation, Canadian Mental Health Association (Our House Too), Gleaners Food Bank, Hospice Quinte, and Police Association Fishing for Kids program. Local realtors are proud to support and give back to the local community.
