Day of Caring
Day of Caring mobilizes volunteers from local businesses that support United Way and matches them with their funded agencies throughout Hastings and Prince Edward Counties. The Day of Caring is a unique opportunity for employees in a workplace to come together, develop team building skills and make a difference in the community by taking part in meaningful work projects at local non-profits. I caught up with the Allstate team as their did cleaning and organizing at Quinte Credit Counselling. Then I joined the Royal LePage team for lunch at the wind-up held at the Quinte Vocational Support Services in East Belleville.
