80 Year-Old Soccer Player Honoured
The Quinte Old Boys Soccer Club hosted a soccer tournament (affectionately known as the "Rust Remover") at Zwick's Park in Belleville on May 29th. As part of the weekend, the contribution of Albert Lambert, 80, was recognized. Albert is still playing indoor and outdoor soccer but will soon retire from outdoor soccer! His wife and family was present at the field to watch and be part of the tribute to Albert. Albert has six grandchildren and two great grandchildren to whom he can pass the love of the game. His wife's advice? "It's time to get out and tour around and enjoy retirement."
