MUSICIANS FOR HOPE

There have been many tragedies and shocking events recently around Quinte. In response, Musicians For Hope organized a free 10 hour open-air concert entitled “Rally For Belleville.” Musicians For Hope is a grass roots, non-profit movement that lives by the motto, “Help your neighbour rebuild their barn.” This was referring to a community's response to when a barn burnt down. Mayor Neil Ellis, MP Daryl Kramp and other dignitaries were on hand for the opening ceremonies. Performers included The Trentones, Shout Sister, Matt Hughes, The Pete’s, Robert Vance, Solitary Man, Tim Campbell, Last Chance Marie and Low Level Flight )featuring Canadian Idol winner Ryan Malcolm) headlined the event.
