The Quinte Arts Council and the Prince Edward County Arts Council partnered together this year to present the 6th annual Artevino. This event brought art, wine and food to the Crystal Palace in Picton on June 19th. There were 11 restaurants, 15 wineries and over 40 local artists featuring their products. The winners of the wine tasting done on May 10th by expert judges were announced. Rosehall Run Winery was awarded the Jonathan Welsh award for having the highest ratio of medals won vs. wine entries. It also won the top scoring red wine award for its 2008 Pinot Noir. Huff Estates won the top scoring white wine award for its 2007 South Bay Chardonnay.
