Community Sports Volunteer AWARDS

Leona Dombrowsky, MPP of Prince Edward-Hastings, presented the Celebration 2010 Community Sports Volunteer Awards to local sports heroes at the Thurlow Community Centre on January 31st. There already had been a public nominating process which had ended November 30th in order to choose these individuals. This recognition ceremony was for sports and recreation volunteers -- not the athletes. Every award winner has made a big contribution in the lives of athletes and our communities. They have inspired and supported the youth to be leaders. Thanks for unselfishly volunteering! (More pictures at www.snapquinte.com)
