Bridging The Gap's MJ Breault, Merrill & Shirley Follen

Bay of Quinte Wine Festival

Bridging the Gap has spent 30 years helping local children ages 6-12 who need alternative ways of learning and who need to discover that learning can be fun! There are a variety of activities beyond academics which include arts and crafts, theatre and drama, music and more. The approach to learning is one of teamwork and co-operation. Bridging the Gap celebrated by hosting a Wine Festival fundraiser on February 6 at the Ramada Inn. There was a great turnout. A large variety of vendors from far and near displayed their wines and foods. Guests could purchase some tickets and get samples with these tickets. Bridging the Gap founder, Shirley Follen, was presented with a certificate of recognition from Loyalist College. For more information on Bridging the Gap visit www.qcl-bridgingthegap.org
