State of the City Luncheon
The Quinte West Chamber of Commerce held a luncheon for its members on January 28th at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Trenton. The luncheon was catered by Platters of Stirling. The guest of honour was Mayor John Williams, who presented the State of City report. He spoke using projected pictures and reviewed many of the projects of the City over the last couple of years. Some of the review included that the Trenton downtown core has had a face lift, Frankford has a new Splash Pad and Batawa Ski Hill has a new quad lift. The military infrastructure spending connected with CFB Trenton will have many spin-off possibilities for local businesses.
