Achievement Celebration
United Way of Quinte held their annual achievement celebration at the Empire Theatre in Belleville. They distributed Spirit Awards to volunteers & donors for their outstanding commitment to the 2009 Campaign. Chair, Mark Philbin, paid tribute “to staff, volunteers and contributors who made the United Way campaign such an incredible growth experience.” In spite of uncertain times and not having set a target, the community responded by raising $1,600,000!
