Charity Fishing Classic
Harmony Homes organized a Charity Fishing Event for all ages at the George Street waterfront ramp in Belleville. This was the first of what they hope will become an annual event. Three local charities were supported through this event - Gleaners Food Bank, Flights for Hope and Habitat for Humanity. Tom Streek is interested in educating children to have fun and to be helping others. Helping Tom was Jeff Chisholm, who has a fishing show on UCB radio. Prizes went for the longest fish and the most weight for food donated to "Fill The Boat" for Gleaners Food Bank. The group raised about $450 and 110 pounds of food.
