Some of the group of students from Belleville Christian School
Mall Week
Eighteen Grade 7 and 8 students of Belleville Christian School spent a week of school time at the Mall! It was all part of their learning about the culture of work and business. These students had to write out their goals before being matched with various merchants from the Quinte Mall. Their goals included things like becoming comfortable with talking to customers, seeing how a store functions and learning how to use a cash register. Each student spent 2 hours a day helping the merchant and 2 hours in classroom instruction in the Mall's Resource Room.
